Mock Data Generator

What is the Mock Data Generator?

The Mock Data Generator creates realistic-looking fake datasets for development, testing, demos, and database seeding. Instead of inventing test records by hand or copy-pasting production data (a privacy minefield), you describe the shape you want — names, emails, addresses, companies, UUIDs, numbers, dates — and get up to 1,000 rows instantly.

Features

  • 20 field types across four groups: Person (names, usernames, emails, phones, job titles), Address (street, city, ZIP, country), Business (company, product, price), and Generic (UUID v4, integers, floats, booleans, dates, timestamps)
  • Three export formats — JSON array, CSV with proper quoting, and SQL INSERT statements with escaped string literals
  • Up to 1,000 rows per run, with duplicate fields automatically deduplicated
  • Cryptographically secure randomness via crypto.getRandomValues — no predictable PRNG output
  • Custom table name for SQL exports, validated against injection

How to use

1. Tick the fields you want in the left panel — they become columns in order of selection.

2. Set the row count and pick an export format (JSON, CSV, or SQL).

3. Hit Generate, then copy the output or download it as a file.

Privacy

Everything is generated locally in your browser with built-in datasets — no network calls, no external faker library, and nothing you generate is ever sent to or stored on a server.
