Quality — Controls lossy compression for JPEG and WebP (1–100). Lower values produce smaller files at the cost of visual quality.
Lossless (WebP only) — Encodes at maximum quality. Disables the quality slider.
Resize — Optionally downscale the image so its longest side does not exceed the given pixel count. Aspect ratio is preserved; images smaller than the limit are left untouched.
Background — When converting a transparent image to JPEG (which has no alpha channel), transparent pixels are composited onto this background color.

GIF input uses the first frame only.
JPEG cannot store transparency. If your source image has alpha, it is flattened onto the background color before encoding.
WebP lossless mode uses the browser's highest quality encoder. True mathematically-lossless WebP depends on browser support.
AVIF and ICO decoding depends on browser support. If your browser can't decode the file, you'll see an error.
All processing happens locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded.
